Rachel Barends

Rachel Barends is a seasoned professional in human resources and education, currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at A.S.K. Services since February 2021. Rachel previously held the role of Instructional Program Coordinator at Washtenaw Community College from January 2020 to July 2021. With extensive experience in program management and coaching, Rachel developed and managed a coeducational summer enrichment program at Columbus School for Girls, supervising approximately 500 students and 80 staff members. Additional coaching roles include Head MS Track & Field Coach and Assistant HS Cross Country Coach, where Rachel contributed to the success of various teams. Rachel's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Wellness from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Adult and Continuing Education from Muskingum University, supplemented by a certificate in Human Resources Management from Washtenaw Community College.
