Colleen Allen

Colleen Allen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and support for military service members and their families. Currently serving as the Public Affairs Director for the Kansas Employer of Guard and Reserve since April 2019, Colleen also holds the position of Yellow Ribbon Program Specialist at A-Team Solutions, LLC, since September 2011, where responsibilities include providing resources and referrals related to the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program. Previous roles include Program Support Specialist for the Kansas Employer for the Guard and Reserve from 2008 to 2010, where efforts were focused on organizing employer briefings and enhancing public awareness. Colleen's foundational experience in education spanned over three decades as an educator for U.S.D. 407, with a focus on high school physical education. Colleen holds a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Kansas State University.
