Isabel Halperin is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Washington, with an anticipated graduation in 2026. Currently serving as a Summer Intern at the National Institute of Mental Health, Isabel collaborates with Dr. Bruno Averbeck on projects related to learning and decision-making. In addition to this role, Isabel is the Event Coordinator and a member of Grey Matters Journal, Vice President of External Affairs for Kappa Kappa Gamma, and a Volunteer Research Assistant at The Golden Lab. Previous experience includes positions as a Guest Service Representative at Nothing Bundt Cakes, an intern with HelpAge USA, and an Assistant Coach for Girls on the Run - DC. Isabel graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School with both a High School Diploma and an International Baccalaureate Diploma and attended Georgetown University for a pre-college program in 2021.
