Georg Löffelmann

Georg Löffelmann is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience at A1 Telekom Austria AG since July 2011, where currently serves as Head of Department Mobile, overseeing budgeting, engineering, planning, rollout, and operation of the mobile access network, along with network optimization and technology development. Previous roles include Head of Mobile Access, Head of 5G Technical Program Lead, and various leadership positions in strategy, innovation, and rollout strategies. Prior experience includes strategic technological decision support and project management at Telekom Austria Group and mobilkom austria group services, with early career roles in R&D at Siemens Enterprise Communications, Thomson CSF, and ABB. Löffelmann holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Telecommunication Engineering from Technische Universität Wien and an Engineer’s Degree in Telecommunications from Technologisches Gewerbemuseum.
