Xin Su

Xin Su is a highly experienced materials scientist with a strong focus on battery technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at A123 Systems, Xin has led global teams in the development of advanced anode materials and lamination technology for solid-state batteries, achieving significant project milestones, including the pre-nomination of the VW MEB Cell Module. Previous experience includes a position as a Scientist at EaglePicher Technologies, where Xin designed high-performance pouch cells and contributed to major defense projects, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Argonne National Laboratory and Brown University, conducting pivotal research on lithium-ion batteries. Xin holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s degree from Tsinghua University.
