Marquita Rene

Marquita Rene is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Operations at A2 Group since October 2023. Alongside this role, Marquita is actively engaged in the wellness sector as a Yoga Instructor at multiple organizations including the University of California, Los Angeles, Y7 Studio, Blue Cross Blue Shield, LA Care Provider, and Chuze Fitness since 2022. Additionally, Marquita founded Black Velveteen Yoga in May 2020, specializing in various yoga styles and wellness practices, including sound healing and guided meditation. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Sponsorship Sales and Marketing Manager for LA Fashion Week since October 2015, where Marquita successfully developed strategies to secure significant sponsorships. Earlier work as a Public Relations Account Executive at Social Media Relations involved executing client-focused PR strategies, managing media relations, and creating engaging content. Marquita holds a Bachelor's degree from Florida State University and is recognized as a 500 RYT and RPYT with Yoga Alliance certification.
