Elisabetta Bourla

Elisabetta Bourla is the Head of Power, Gas, and Hydrogen Production and Markets in Regulatory and Market Affairs. They completed an internship at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the EU in 2010 and held various positions at a2a from 2016 to 2025, including Strategy Development Regulatory and Head of Business Development, Innovation, and Operational Excellence in Retail Markets. They also worked as an advisor for national and international wholesale power market regulation at Edison SpA from 2014 to 2016 and managed Regulatory Affairs at Sorgenia from 2011 to 2014. They earned an undergraduate degree in Economics and Management, with honors, from Bocconi University, where they also completed a postgraduate degree, and participated in exchange programs at The Australian National University and Fundaçao Getulio Vargas in Brazil.
