Mario Varon

Mario Varon has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mario started their career in 2008 as the Director of I&D at Proteccion Industrial, where they developed and implemented corporate policies, business plans, and patented products. In 2012, they became the Director of the ATIS project "TRAFIX" at Sims Technologies SAS, securing funding and leading the implementation of an advanced traveler information system. Mario then founded their own company, CARE SAS, in 2013, where they served as CEO and co-founder. In 2014, they founded Protraffic SAS and served as CEO and founder until 2021, providing innovative solutions in the road safety industry. Currently, they are the CEO and co-founder of ImagineX SAS, a company that offers a realistic digital representation of designs to clients. Additionally, they recently co-founded A2B Gadgets, designing safety products for riders and motorcycles.

Mario Varon completed a Master's degree in Ingeniería informática from Universidad de Los Andes from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued an Especialización en Políticas Públicas in Ciencias Políticas from Universidad de Los Andes from 2010 to 2011. Their undergraduate studies were in Industrial Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Universidad de Los Andes between 2002 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Mario Varon obtained certifications in PREHOSPITAL TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT from NAEMT in March 2012 and in AGENT VI SOLUTION INTEGRATOR (SISTEMA DE ANÁLISIS DE VISIÓN) from Agent Video Intelligence in October 2012.
