Jackie Xuan

Jackie Xuan has a diverse range of work experience in various research and teaching roles. Jackie'smost recent position was as a Research Associate at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on improving delivery efficiency of fatty acids to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Jackie also worked as a Summer Scholar & Research Assistant at SENS Research Foundation in 2020, where they optimized a Drosophila Alzheimer's disease model. In addition, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from 2018 to 2020, contributing to projects related to motor clutch modeling and dynamics prediction. Lastly, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019, participating in a program focused on developing hydrogels for the treatment of spinal cord injury.

Jackie Xuan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, Jackie pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, in August 2020, Jackie earned a certification in Responsible Conduct of Research from the CITI Program, a Division of BRANY.
