Srinivas Akkaraju

Srinivas Akkaraju is currently the Director at A2 Biotherapeutics. Srinivas has over 18 years of experience in the venture capital and biotech industries.

Srinivas Akkaraju started their career in 1998 as Business Development at Gentench. Srinivas then moved to Genentech where they were the Manager of BD until 2001. In 2001, they joined JPMP as an Associate and was promoted to Principal in 2003 and Partner in 2006. In 2006, they left JPMP to join Panorama Capital as Managing Director. After two years at Panorama, they joined New Leaf Venture Partners as Managing Director in 2009. In 2013, they joined Sofinnova Ventures as General Partner and stayed there until 2016 when they left to join A2 Biotherapeutics.

Srinivas Akkaraju has a MD and PhD from Stanford University in the field of Immunology. Srinivas also has a BA from Rice University in Biochemistry and Computer Science.
