Jeff Barnhouse has a long and varied work history. In 2004, they began as a Field Service Engineer for MGE UPS SYSTEMS, providing customer support via on-site visits for large Uninterruptible Power Supply systems. In 2005, they became a VLSI Senior Engineering Technician at the University of Southern California, responsible for programming, maintaining, and operating semiconductor wafer probing equipment. In 2008, they took a role as an Electrical Engineer at AC Propulsion, Inc., where they were responsible for the design of numerous electronic product lines. In 2011, they became a Systems Engineer at Fisker Automotive, authoring technical specifications, logical diagrams, and safety specifications for system, components, and interfaces. In 2012, they took on two roles: Senior Hardware Engineer at General Micro Systems and Senior Electronics Engineer at Syprosoft Engineering. In 2017, they became a Spacecraft Test Flight Engineer at ANRE Technologies Inc., supporting functional validation and verification testing of spacecraft flight electronics. In 2018, they became a Senior Hardware Engineer at Intellivision Entertainment, creating electronics architecture for a new game console. Finally, in 2014, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Barnhouse Lapidary, Inc., an importer, exporter, and wholesaler of high quality rocks and minerals from around the world. In 2022, they will begin as a Hardware Engineer at A2e Technologies.
Jeff Barnhouse attended the University of Arkansas Grantham from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a BS in Computer Engineering Technology. Jeff then attended the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued an MS in Computer Science, but did not complete the degree.
