Nicholas Garcia

Nicholas Garcia has worked in the Information Technology field since 2016. Nicholas began their career at Pedder Nissan as an Information Technology Specialist, where they were responsible for system administration, workstation setup and configuration, administering user accounts and credentials, receiving and responding to user inquiries and requests, and other related assignments. Nicholas provided full support for Microsoft products, while also supporting Apple OS. In 2016, Nicholas moved on to Advantage Medical Inc., where they served as an IT Security Systems Field Technician. Their responsibilities included security system installation and configuration, providing technical user service and support, system testing and troubleshooting, creating reports and tickets for hospital audits, ensuring system compliance with HIPPA protocols, and creating, managing, and deploying computer images. Nicholas also handled the installation and maintenance of Hugs infant security systems. In 2018, Nicholas joined North County Health Services (NCHS) as a System Administrator and Help Desk ll. Their most recent position was at TrueCare | Health Inside. Welcome In., where they served as a System Administrator. Nicholas was directly responsible for system administration, assisting with system migrations, maintaining and upgrading existing systems, creating and maintaining system documentation, system testing and troubleshooting, providing user technical support, conducting regular system reviews, supporting help desk technicians, responding to emergencies, and handling a wide variety of special projects. Nicholas provided technical support across 13 locations, with approximately 750-plus system users. Nicholas worked with various systems and platforms, including Active Directory, Windows Server 2012-2019, Veeam, Azure, VMWare, and SolarWinds. Nicholas currently works at A2e Technologies as an Information Technology Security Administrator.

Nicholas Garcia obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Mt. San Jacinto College between 2011 and 2015. Nicholas also holds a Cybersecurity Leadership Certification from Proofpoint, obtained in June 2022, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in March 2021, a CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA, obtained in November 2022, and a CompTIA A+ from CompTIA, obtained in March 2016.
