Nicole Poole

Nicole Poole has a diverse work experience in various artistic and creative roles. Nicole is currently serving as the Executive Director for SPARK! Creative Lab, a non-profit organization focused on immersive performance and community engagement in Oklahoma City. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Director at Maverick Arts, LLC. Nicole also had a role in fine arts collection management at O. Gail Poole Collection. Nicole has experience as a narrator for Recorded Books, Tantor Media, and Dreamscape Media, LLC, where they recorded numerous audiobook titles. Nicole worked as an on-camera and voiceover artist at Abrams Artists Agency. Additionally, they have a background as a composer and performer for The Walter Thompson Orchestra/Soundpainting. Nicole has also served as a facilitator for the Creative Catalyst Program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University.

Nicole Poole's education history includes several notable achievements and certifications. Nicole obtained a Creative Catalyst Certificate in the field of study "Artist as Leader" from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued French studies at Accord Ecole de Langues in Paris from 2011 to 2012. Nicole also studied French language at Alliance Française from 2007 to 2009. In 1995, Nicole Poole earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre from the University of Oklahoma.

In addition to their formal education, Nicole Poole has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained a certification from Oklahoma City Business Leaders for Good, offered by Grapevine. In 2020, they completed the Artist as Entrepreneur certification program at Creative Catalyst at UNCSA, and in the same year, they also obtained a certification in Artist as Innovator from the same institution. Nicole Poole's earliest certification, Certified Soundpainter, was obtained from WALTER THOMPSON ORCHESTRA INC in 2006.
