Marcela Navarro-Björn

Marcela Navarro-Björn has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Registered Nurse at SU/ Mölndal University Hospital and later at SU/Östra Universitetssjukhuset as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. In 1992, they served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Vasa sjukhus- Krokslättssjukhem. Marcela then worked as an Emergency Nurse at Ullevål University Hospital in Oslo from 1999 to 2000.

In 2000, Marcela transitioned to the medical device industry and joined Cook as a Product Specialist for Urology. In 2003, they moved to Terumo Medical Corporation, where they worked as a Sales Area Manager, responsible for the sales of interventional systems in Cardiology and Radiology. Marcela later became a Product Manager for Nordic & Baltic countries, developing marketing plans for interventional products.

From 2010 to 2016, Marcela worked at Vitrolife, first as a Regional Manager for Distributor Markets EMEA and then as a Sales Director for the same markets. During their time at Vitrolife, they focused on expanding sales and enhancing market positions.

In 2016, Marcela joined Ascom Wireless Solutions as the Director of Global Sales Operation, where they were responsible for sales transformation and sales strategy implementation. Marcela ensured that the sales workforce was aligned with the company's strategy and had the necessary competencies to achieve business results.

From 2018 to 2021, Marcela worked as the Business Unit Manager IVT Systems at B. Braun Group, where they managed the IVT Systems business unit.

Currently, Marcela Navarro-Björn serves as the Director of Global Marketing & Sales at A3P Biomedical AB. Marcela'sresponsibilities include overseeing the sales and marketing programs, developing strategic objectives, and implementing key growth sales strategies for the commercial launch of the Stockholm3 diagnostic test.

Marcela Navarro-Björn obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science, with their main field of study being Nursing Science, from University- Bohusläns Högskola. This education spanned from 1987 to 1990. In 1998 and 1999, they pursued studies in Marketing & Business Administration at Collage Finngosa, although no degree is mentioned for this period. In 2018, Marcela Navarro-Björn attended Linnaeus University, specializing in Organization and Leadership.
