Ryan Kim

Ryan Kim is a seasoned professional in the technology sector with a strong focus on blockchain and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies. Currently serving as Compiler Lead at A41 since January 2025, Ryan aims to eliminate trust assumptions in various applications. Previously, Ryan held the position of ZKP Lead at Lightscale from February 2022 to January 2025 and worked as a Software Engineer at NAVER LABS Corp. from January 2020 to February 2022. Earlier career experience includes roles at Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics where Ryan contributed to the development of object detection systems for robot vacuum cleaners and collaborated with KAIST on SLAM technologies. Additional experience at Samsung Electronics from August 2014 to February 2018 involved the development of a web engine and JavaScript engine for low-memory environments, along with contributions to IoT.js as a committer. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from 서울대학교, earned between January 2007 and January 2014.
