John Andress

John Andress has had a long and successful career in the world of security and poker. John began their career as a self-employed professional poker player in 2010. Throughout their nine-year career, John specialized in high stakes live and online No-Limit Holdem cash games and tournaments. In January 2019, John began working as a game integrity consultant for an online poker operator. In this role, they developed game theory based models & algorithms to predict and detect collusion and AI use in real money cash games and tournaments. John continued in this role until November 2019 when they were hired as the Head of Security at A5 Labs.

John Andress completed their undergraduate degree at Penn State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing.
