James Xie

James Xie is a Systems Engineer at AAC Clyde Space, where responsibilities include leading the development of a 6U RF signals intelligence CubeSat mission. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at Stroud International, where James led client teams to address manufacturing and capital project challenges while overseeing the global IT team during the COVID-19 digitization transition. As CAN-SBX Project Manager at SEDS Canada, James coordinated student teams in collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency for stratospheric balloon missions. Additionally, as Engineering Lead for the Lunar Settlement Design Team at Space Generation Advisory Council, James managed interdisciplinary teams from multiple countries. Early roles include Operations Manager and Payload Manager at Queen's Space Engineering Team, as well as internships at INVISTA and Queen's University focused on automation and chemical engineering research. James holds a Master of Space Studies from the International Space University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's University.
