Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott is a Nuclear Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, specializing in Nuclear Operations since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Tickle College of Engineering, University of Tennessee, from November 2019 to January 2023. During a Graduate Student Internship at Idaho National Laboratory in summer 2022, Matthew contributed to the development of a predictive maintenance strategy for nuclear power plants. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, acquired in December 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, completed in 2020. Additionally, Matthew earned an Associate of Science degree through the UT engineering transfer pathway at Pellissippi State Community College from 2015 to 2017.
