Julie Crockett

Julie Crockett possesses extensive experience in government relations and federal regulatory affairs, currently serving as Director of Government Relations at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) since March 2016. In this role, Julie promotes excellence in osteopathic medical education and advocates for innovative policies to enhance public health. Prior experience includes positions as Federal Affairs Manager at CFM Strategic Communications, where federal policy priorities were established for a diverse range of issues, and as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Gene Taylor, providing strategic advice on multiple legislative areas. Julie also contributed to legal processes at the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney's Office and engaged in constituent services during internships with the U.S. House of Representatives and the United Kingdom Parliament. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Information Sciences from The University of Alabama.
