Director Product Innovation And Technology at AAK

Staffan Norberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Staffan started their career at Göteborg University as a research scholar, studying taurine transport from mother to baby and publishing an article on the topic. Staffan then moved on to AAK, where they held various positions such as Process Development, Technical Service and Product Development, and Product Development Manager. In these roles, they worked on developing products for different business areas such as Food, Chocolate and Confectionery, Beauty and Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, and Feed. Staffan also served as a member of the management teams for the business areas Lipids for Care, Chocolate and Confectionery, and Feed Material. Staffan later became the Director of Lipids for Care at AAK, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, and development of functional ingredients for the Beauty and Personal Care, as well as Pharmaceuticals industries globally. After that, they took on the role of Director of Business Development, where they focused on non-food applications and segments such as Personal Care, Technical Fatty Acids, Lubricants, and Animal Feed. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Innovation and Technology at AAK, where they are accountable for product innovation and technology development within the personal care industry and provides support for innovation in technical and feed applications. Staffan is also responsible for regulatory affairs and technical management for non-food applications.

Staffan Norberg obtained their M.Sc. in Chemistry from Chalmers University of Technology, where they attended from 1992 to 1997. Staffan also attended strömbacka from 1986 to 1990.
