Mette Nissen

Mette Nissen is an experienced library consultant currently working at Aalborg Bibliotekerne since March 2020. Previously, Mette served as a project leader and library consultant at Vesthimmerlands Biblioteker from November 2012 to February 2020, focusing on organizational change, project management tool development, strategy development, and fundraising for initiatives such as PopUpEksperimentariet 346. Mette also held roles as a project employee and a call-in assistant during this period. Earlier experience includes serving as a student assistant at Aalborg Universitetsbibliotek, where responsibilities included supporting master's students and project management. Mette holds a diploma in management from UCN, a master's degree in cultural communication and information science from the University of Copenhagen, and a bachelor's degree in Danish and cultural communication from Aalborg University.
