Maj-Britt Quitzau

Maj-Britt Quitzau serves as the Head of the Planning for Urban Sustainability Research Group at Aalborg Universitet since October 2015 and also holds the position of Associate Professor, focusing on university teaching and the development of students. In addition, Maj-Britt serves as Chair of the Study Board of Techno-Anthropology and Sustainable Design, overseeing the quality assurance of educational programs. Concurrently, since August 2021, Maj-Britt has provided psycho-social academic support for students with disabilities at Olivia Danmark. Previous roles include freelance development consultant for DGI and postdoctoral research at Aalborg University Copenhagen, with an emphasis on sustainable urban planning practices. Maj-Britt's education includes a PhD in Environmental Sociology from DTU and professional teaching training, among other qualifications.
