Wajahat Beg

Wajahat Beg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational risk and safety management within the technology and aviation sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operational Risk and Safety Management at Starship Technologies since March 2022, Wajahat develops risk management frameworks for autonomous systems. As the founder of Innoviation LLC since December 2021, Wajahat provides sustainable solutions and advises corporate boards on safety and strategic planning. Previous roles include leading Government Affairs for Loon, managing safety audit programs at the International Civil Aviation Organization, commanding the Territorial Battalion Group for the Department of National Defence, and advancing operational procedures at the International Air Transport Association. Wajahat holds a Master of Public Administration from the Royal Military College of Canada and a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from Concordia University.
