Andrew Pinch

Andrew Pinch has worked at American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) for several years in various roles. Andrew started in 2006 as a Detroit Gear & Axle - Plant Intern and went on to work as an Industrial Engineering Intern in 2007. In 2008, they served as a Lean Industrial Engineering Intern where they implemented 5S organization tools and created standardized work charts. From 2009 to 2014, Andrew worked as an Industrial Engineer - Advanced Programs at AAM. In this role, they planned and launched new programs worldwide, conducted IE & Lean training workshops, and supported plants with cycle time, capacity, and material flow issues. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Industrial Engineer and later became the Lead Industrial Engineer. No end date is provided for their current position.

Andrew Pinch completed their education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Andrew earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing Engineering in 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt from the American Society for Quality.
