Martina Smekalova

Martina Smekalova is a seasoned geospatial professional with over two decades of experience in various roles within the geospatial industry. Currently serving as the Geocirrus Product Lead and Geospatial Analyst at Woolpert Asia-Pacific since December 2017, Martina previously held the position of Team Leader for Geospatial Data Analysts. Prior to that, positions included Spatial Data Analyst at Transport for NSW, GIS Administrator at Lane Cove Council, and Spatial Database Analyst and GIS Analyst at Sydney Catchment Authority. The career began as a GIS Engineer at Orange Slovensko and included a role as a GIS Specialist at the Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava. Martina holds a Master of Science in Geography and Cartography from Comenius University, obtained between 1994 and 1999.
