Hashim Bafadhal

Hashim Bafadhal is a seasoned professional with expertise in Islamic finance and auditing. As the Founder and Director of Ascent Islamic, Hashim leads initiatives in the field. Additionally, Hashim serves as a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor at the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). Previously, Hashim held the position of Senior Vice President at Manulife and worked as a Financial Advisor at HSBC. Academically, Hashim earned a Master's degree in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
