Debra Waldron

Senior Vice President

Debra Waldron, MD, MPH, FAAP is the Senior Vice President for Healthy and Resilient Children, Youth, and Families at the American Academy of Pediatrics, where they focus on integrated health systems and population health. They previously served as the Director of the Division of Services for Children with Special Healthcare Needs at the Health Resources and Services Administration from 2015 to 2017, and as the Vice Chair of Child Health Policy at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine from 2008 to 2015. Debra holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
