Erin Weil

Manager, Healthy Mental Development Initiatives at AAP

Erin Weil started their career in 2009 as an intern at the Chicago Federation of Labor Workers Assistance Committee. Erin then worked as a Summer Camp Counselor and Site Director at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago for six years. In 2010, they became an Operations Associate at EdLink, LLC. From 2011 to 2020, Erin held various roles at YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office), including Administrative Assistant, Coordinator of Program Integration, and Project Manager. In July 2020, they joined the American Academy of Pediatrics as Manager of Telehealth for Pediatric Care Initiatives, where they lead a project team and manages a $6 million federal cooperative agreement.

Erin Weil earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from DePaul University, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2006 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Foresight Practitioner from the Institute for the Future in February 2020.
