Lia Gaggino

Lia Gaggino is a board member at the American Academy of Pediatrics. Lia has been involved with the organization since 2017 and served as the Chair of the National Nominating Committee from January 2017 to December 2019.

Gaggino is also a pediatrician and has been working in the field since they graduated from medical school. Lia worked at Bronson Rambling Road Pediatrics before taking on the role of Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at Bronson Methodist Hospital in January 2015. Lia held this position until May 2020.

Gaggino has also been involved with the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Zero Suicide Foundation, and the Suicide Prevention Action Network. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Chair of Suicide Prevention Action Network, Kalamazoo County.

Lia Gaggino has a Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine as well as a BS in Physiology from Michigan State University. Lia did their Pediatric Residency at Michigan State University.
