Melissa Stockwell's work experience includes being the Chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Health at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since March 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Center for Children's Digital Health Research at Columbia University, Department of Pediatrics starting in 2019. Melissa has also served as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Population and Family Health at Columbia University in the City of New York since October 2006, and as the Co-Director of the Primary Care Clinician Research Fellowship in Community Health at the same institution. Melissa Stockwell attended Williams College from 1992 to 1996, although the field of study they pursued during this time is not specified. Subsequently, they enrolled at Harvard Medical School and obtained an MD degree between 1996 and 2000. After completing medical school, Melissa Stockwell engaged in a pediatric residency, serving as Chief Resident at MassGeneral Hospital for Children from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they pursued further education at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, completing their studies in 2007.
