Mark Lukaszewski

Mark Lukaszewski is the Director of Congressional Affairs at the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a position they currently hold. Prior to this role, Mark served as the Associate Director of Congressional Affairs and then as the Director at the American Osteopathic Association, where they advocated for various healthcare legislative issues. They also gained experience as a Congressional Lobbyist for the American College of Surgeons and worked as a Policy Associate at the American Society of Nephrology. Mark began their career in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Correspondent and Health Legislative Assistant. They are currently pursuing a degree in History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
