Lucrecia Salgado is an accomplished professional in the agricultural technology sector, currently serving as the Data Science Climate Latam AgTech Lead at Bayer since February 2020. In addition, Lucrecia serves on the Investment Committee for Innventure AgriFood Tech and is a co-founder of Innventure VC, roles held since August 2022. Lucrecia has been with Aapresid since March 2017 as the Deputy Director of the International Program, while also being an active member of the Regional Tandilia and Chacra BioInnova. Prior experience includes positions at Monsanto and CONICET, along with an early role as an Agronomist at Alfalfares SA. Lucrecia holds an Agronomy degree from the University of Buenos Aires and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Bionegocios and sustainability at the same institution.

The Argentine Association of Producers in Direct Seeding (Aapresid) is a non-profit non-governmental organization. Integrated by a network of agricultural producers who, based on the interest in the conservation of their main resource, the soil, adopted and promoted the dissemination of a new agricultural paradigm, based on Direct Seeding. This new agriculture seeks to increase productivity without the negative effects of tillage schemes. And it is a real answer to the great dilemma between production and sustainability that the human species faces today: Produce food, fibers and biofuels, keeping in balance the economic, ethical, environmental and energy variables of our society. Our action is based on openly sharing knowledge among the members of the network, stimulating leadership and innovation.
