Bill Elyea

Bill Elyea is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government compliance and contracts management, currently serving as the Chief Government Compliance Officer at AAR since November 2013. Elyea has held various senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Contracts, Licensing & Trade Compliance, Vice President of Contracts and Subcontracts, and Vice President of Government Contracts at AAR. Prior experience includes serving as a Contracting Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs and as a Principal Acquisition Analyst at CACI International Inc, where expertise in acquisition management and complex contracting solutions was demonstrated in support of the CENTCOM Contracting Command in Afghanistan. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Director of Contracts at Chemring Energetic Devices and Senior Manager of Contracts at General Dynamics, where extensive negotiation and contract management skills were applied. Elyea holds a Master of Science in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University.
