Arno Wijsmuller

Arno Wijsmuller is a skilled molecular breeding assistant at Aardevo since January 2023, with prior experience as a molecular analyst for COVID-19 at the Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu from April 2021 to December 2022. Previous roles include a research assistant in virology and analyst for COVID-19 diagnostics at Wageningen Bioveterinary Research in late 2020, and a graduate student intern at the Instituut voor Landbouw, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek (ILVO) focused on CRISPR technology for inducing resistance against phytophthora in potatoes. Arno also interned at Danone Nutricia Research, conducting research on in-vitro digestion models for infants. Arno holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in molecular plant biology from HAN University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2020.
