Dan Pontoriero

Dan Pontoriero, CCDM, is a seasoned professional in clinical data management with extensive experience across multiple organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data Management at Aardvark Therapeutics since May 2025, Dan has previously held the position of Director of Data Management at Longboard Pharmaceuticals, where significant oversight of Phase 1 to 3 clinical programs was demonstrated. With a history of managing complex data management efforts and vendor relations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Hologic, and Dexcom, Dan has successfully led multiple concurrent trials, optimized data collection processes, and updated departmental procedures. Educationally, Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University.
