Nan Gerdes

Nan Gerdes is a highly experienced academic professional currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University since December 2023, following a tenure at Roskilde University as a Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2020 to January 2024. In addition, Nan Gerdes has held positions at DIS - Study Abroad as both Academic Faculty and Assistant Program Director for European Humanities since November 2018. Prior experience includes teaching at UCplus Dansk and roles as Postdoc and PhD Fellow at the University of Copenhagen from February 2010 to August 2017. Nan Gerdes began a career in publishing with roles at the Danish Publishers Association and Forlagsbureauet, and has extensive editing and proofreading experience spanning various literary and academic contexts since 2001. Educationally, Nan Gerdes holds a PhD in Literature with a focus on Francophone history from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, earned between 1997 and 2007.
