Leynes Maria Moran Bravo has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Leynes Maria started their career as a Senior Research Coordinator at TRU in 2004 and later joined Ipsos, where they held various positions such as Project Director, Senior Project Director, Account Manager, and Senior Research Manager. At Ipsos, Leynes contributed to research projects in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, focusing on corporate reputation, crisis management, and claims testing. Leynes Maria co-authored a white paper on building the reputation of higher education institutions.
In 2012, Leynes joined Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies as an Alumni Instructor and Program Fellow. During their tenure, they collaborated with the School's leadership to develop and teach courses on collaboration in communications and co-created programming called "The Brand Collaborative."
From 2013 to 2016, Leynes worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington. In this role, they led efforts to increase the organization's visibility through brand positioning and marketing communications. Leynes Maria managed digital advertising, website redesign, and executed the organization's first brand campaign.
In 2016, Leynes moved to AARP Foundation, where they held various positions. Initially, they served as a Campaign Strategist/Senior Advisor, responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing communications strategies. Leynes Maria monitored progress and identified improvement opportunities, while also leading content strategy and experiential marketing initiatives. Later, they became the Interim Director of Communications and Marketing before being promoted to the Director of Brand Communications & Marketing. In their most recent role as Senior Director, Leynes leads brand communications and marketing strategies to advance AARP Foundation's organizational priorities and increase brand awareness among target audiences. Leynes Maria manages internal agencies and oversees a team responsible for brand strategy, social strategy, digital marketing, internal communications, graphic design, and fundraising communications efforts.
Leynes Maria Moran Bravo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Spanish from Saint Louis University. Additionally, they have pursued further education at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, where they are currently studying for a Master of Professional Studies degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications with a focus on Business/Corporate matters.
