Meg Booth

Meg Booth has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Currently, they are the Director of Benefits Access at AARP Foundation, which they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director at the Mental Health Strategic Impact Initiative (S2i) from July 2022 to November 2022. Meg also worked as a Principal at MB Strategies from March 2020 to July 2022.

Earlier in their career, they held various roles at the Children's Dental Health Project, including Executive Director from January 2016 to December 2019. During their time there, they led the organization through mission expansion, merger negotiations, and strategic partnership development. Before becoming Executive Director, Meg served as the Director of Policy at the same organization, where they developed and led the organizational policy vision and strategy.

Meg's work experience also includes positions at the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs, where they worked as a Policy Analyst focused on analyzing federal policies and coordinating programs for the health and development of children. Meg was also a Health Policy Associate at the Alliance for Health Reform, supporting the development and coordination of Congressional briefings on health care issues.

Earlier in their career, Meg worked at the Iowa Department of Public Health as a Program Planner II, where they developed and directed grant applications and programs for maternal and child health, family planning, and dental community grants.

Overall, Meg Booth has a strong background in policy development, strategic planning, and program coordination, with a focus on improving access to benefits and advocating for the health and well-being of children and families.

Meg Booth has a BA in Community Health Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Meg also holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
