Doris Gilliam

Doris Gilliam is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Associate General Counsel at AARP since June 2002, where responsibilities include leading the legal support for the largest business unit within the organization across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Additionally, from June 2013 to April 2021, Doris held the position of General Counsel for Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church, providing proactive legal advice on diverse matters such as litigation, intellectual property, commercial contracts, human resources, real estate, and creditor issues. Doris holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Classical Civilization from Howard University.
