Karen Moldovan

Karen Moldovan is currently the Advocacy Director at AARP, bringing extensive experience in public policy development, advocacy, and coalition building. Previously, they served as the Government Relations Director for the Colorado Optometric Association, where they managed state and federal initiatives and secured the passage of significant legislation. Karen has held various leadership roles in organizations focused on social impact, including the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault and LiveWell Colorado, advocating for underserved populations and promoting social justice. They hold a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from The Citadel and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston.
