Kayode Sanni is a Project Manager and Global Lead for the Biotech Maize Seed System (BMSS) and the Accelerating BT Maize Adoption in Nigeria (ABMAN) at the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), a position held since 2025. Previously, Kayode served as Project Manager and Director of The Alliance for Hybrid Rice in Africa (AHyRA) at AATF from 2013 to 2025, along with roles at various research institutions including the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and AfricaRice. Kayode has a robust background in molecular biology and plant breeding, currently pursuing a PhD in Plant Breeding at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and a Master's degree in Environmental Genetics at the University of Ibadan.
