Carol Tobiassen

Carol Tobiassen has a diverse work experience. Carol started their career as the Director of Clinical Operations at UnitedHealth Group from September 1990 to August 2000. Carol then worked as a Six Sigma Consultant at UnitedHealth Group from September 2000 to June 2016. From June 2016 to June 2019, they held the position of Director of Health Care Reform Financial Oversight at UnitedHealth Group. In 2005, they became a member of the Citizens' Advisory Budget Committee in the City of Aurora, serving as the past secretary until 2011. Carol was also the VP of Programs at AAUW since September 2009 and the Treasurer at Bicycle Aurora since 1998.

Carol Tobiassen has a strong educational background, with degrees in both business and nursing. Carol obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Connecticut, graduating between the years of 1971 and 1975. Later, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) from Boston University, completing the program from 1986 to 1988. In addition to their degrees, Carol also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in February 2015.
