Kapil Makhija

Kapil Makhija has over 15 years of professional experience in design and product management. Kapil began their career in 2007 as Project Lead - UI/UX for Microsoft, DMS Consulting at LiquidHub Analytics (Formerly Annik), where they were responsible for accomplishing UI/UX designs for all the Microsoft enterprise applications/products and managing Microsoft products. Kapil also managed a UI team of 3 designers and 3 Flash developers. In 2013, they moved to Stigasoft, where they worked as Manager Designs, managing and defining product roadmaps, features and customer experiences using new design patterns. Kapil also designed and implemented high-fidelity clickable mock-ups of the product, site maps and information flows. In 2018, Kapil joined Denave as Sr. Manager Designs/Products, where they executed and drove products to the next level, creating out of the class products and getting value to the products with desired results and high ROI. Currently, they work at Aavenir as Sr. Manager Designs.

Kapil Makhija completed their high school education from Manav Sthali School in India, majoring in Commerce with Computer Applications. Kapil then went on to pursue an Advanced 3 years Diploma Certification in Designs & Web Engineering from Aptech Learning. Subsequently, they obtained a BCA from Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur, majoring in Computer Programming, Specific Applications. In addition, Kapil Makhija has obtained a number of certifications, including Design Thinking with Customer Centric Innovation from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in April 2022, Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner Credential (ACPM) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2020, and Advanced Graphics Design & Web Engineering from Aptech in 2003.
