Venkat Narayan

Venkat Narayan has extensive experience in finance and investment management, currently serving as an Adviser at Aavishkaar since August 2013, where efforts focus on entrepreneurship for the next three billion and impact investing in the region. Previously, Venkat held prestigious roles including Partner and Managing Director in Corporate Finance at Lazard India from November 2006 to July 2013, and CEO at Al Anwar Holdings, where responsibilities included driving investment strategies in Oman. Venkat's earlier career includes pivotal roles as COO at AFL Private Limited and Vice President at IL&FS, alongside experience as a Product Manager at Blue Star Limited. Venkat Narayan holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BE (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
