Philip Theron

Philip Theron is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as VP of Engineering at AB InBev since September 2022. With a robust background at Anheuser-Busch, Philip held roles as Principal Engineer and Director of Commercial Analytics & Transformation from July 2018 to September 2022, and previously worked as Global Audit Manager for Data Analytics at Anheuser-Busch InBev. Philip’s earlier experience includes positions at SABMiller as a Specialist in Global Data Analytics and in various audit roles at South African Breweries. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Finance and Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg, and a certificate in Big Data & Social Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
