Shannon Marquez

Shannon Marquez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shannon started their career as a Front Office Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott, where they trained and mentored front desk staff, ensured adherence to Marriott policies, and managed schedules. Shannon then transitioned to a Sales Coordinator role at White Lodging Services, where they supported the entire Sales Department, managed group blocks and resumes, and coordinated events for dual Marriott properties.

In 2010, Shannon joined Hampton Inn Phoenix-Biltmore and quickly advanced to become a Sales Manager. Here, they supervised groups and local IBT accounts, hired and mentored a Sales Assistant, and ensured the smooth execution of client needs while maintaining a strong client relationship.

Further advancing their career, Shannon worked as a Sales Manager at Zona Hotel & Suites Scottsdale, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, and Radisson Fort McDowell Resort. In these roles, they excelled in soliciting and booking new and existing accounts, developing marketing plans, attending trade shows and industry events, and staying abreast of marketing trends.

Shannon also gained valuable experience as a National Sales Manager at We-Ko-Pa Resort & Conference Center, where they exceeded revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, and site inspections. Shannon also attended trade shows and developed marketing strategies to stay competitive in the market.

From 2018 to 2019, Shannon served as a Senior Sales Manager at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, where they focused on understanding market opportunities, driving revenue, and building successful relationships with corporate clients in the East Coast and Arizona. Shannon also managed the Insurance and Financial sector as a vertical market.

Most recently, Shannon joined AB Staffing Solutions in 2020 as an Account Manager/Senior Healthcare Recruiter. Here, they utilized their skills to identify, engage, evaluate, and recruit healthcare professionals for medical facilities nationwide. Shannon sourced candidates through various platforms, prequalified them based on education and credentials, and provided support throughout the placement process.
