Birgit Reiter-Braunwieser

Birgit Reiter-Braunwieser has over two decades of experience in investment promotion and international business advisory. Since 2003, Birgit has served as the Director for Central and Eastern Europe and Research at ABA Invest in Austria, providing cost-free guidance to companies from Central and Eastern Europe looking to establish businesses in Austria. Previously, from 1997 to 2003, Birgit worked as an Investment Promotion Specialist at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank Group in Washington D.C., where expertise focused on technical assistance and training for export and investment promotion agencies globally. Birgit holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Mag. Phil. in Political Science from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, and a Certificat d'Etudes Etrangeres in International Relations from Institut d'Etudes Politiques (IEP) Bordeaux, France.
