Rene Smittenberg

Rene Smittenberg is a seasoned professional in the accounting and auditing field, currently serving as a Senior Accountant for Audit & Assurance at ABAB Accountants B.V. since May 1997. Since March 2013, Rene has also held the role of Treasurer for Stichting Sahelp in Oss. In previous positions, Rene has been the Director of Accountancy for the Gelderland region, a Senior Auditor, and a Corporate Finance Consultant. Prior experience includes roles at BDO Nederland, KPMG Audit, and BDO (CampsObers), beginning as an assistant accountant. Rene holds a degree in Accountancy from NIVRA, attained between 1980 and 1988.
