Rafael J. Nunez

Rafael J. Nunez has a wide range of work experience. Rafael J. began as a Peer Tutor at Kean University in 2012. In 2015, they became a Retail Banker at PNC, where they were responsible for delivering a unique customer experience and educating customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions. In 2017, they worked as a Data Entry Operator in the Budget Department at Kean University, where they maintained student records, assisted the general accounting department, and provided administrative services. In 2018, they were an Intern at the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at ValueMomentum as a Data Analyst and Operations (DataOps), where they implemented Big data pipelines for Data Ingestion, Storage, Processing & Consumption, developed and implemented technical documentation and operational procedures, and supported User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data platform and domain models. Rafael J. currently works as a Data Operations Engineer at Abacus Insights.

Rafael J. Nunez has an extensive education history. Rafael J. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability Studies from Kean University in 2015. Rafael J. then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Global Policy Studies and the United Nations from Rutgers University, which they completed in 2018. Rafael J. also obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Data Science from Rutgers University in 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from NYU Stern School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications, including CyberDiplomacy from UNODC in 2020, Python for Data Science from IBM Services in 2019, and Big Data Foundations - Hadoop (HDFS) from IBM in 2019.
