Malte Kortner

Malte Kortner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Malte currently works at Abacus Medicine as a Lead Portfolio Manager, a position they have held since May 2022. Before that, they were a Portfolio Manager at the same company starting from February 2020. Prior to Abacus Medicine, Malte worked at BLUETOWN as a Finance and Management Student Assistant from October 2018 to October 2019. Malte also served as a Master Thesis Student at BLUETOWN from November 2018 to September 2019. In 2019, Malte co-founded Creative Dockyard, where they were responsible for planning and implementing the company's digital strategy and process optimization. Creative Dockyard closed down in June 2019. From 2009 to 2017, Malte worked as a Business Analyst at Das Futterhaus, a franchise company specializing in zoological products. Malte also gained experience as an E-Commerce Student Assistant at both CHEFS CULINAR from 2014 to 2016 and CITTI Handelsgesellschaft Mbh & Co. KG in 2013.

Malte Kortner completed their MSc (cand.merc.) in International Marketing and Management (IMM) from Copenhagen Business School, studying from 2017 to 2019.

Prior to that, Malte Kortner obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in B.Sc. Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School. This degree was achieved in 2016.

Before attending BI Norwegian Business School, Malte Kortner studied at Kiel University and obtained another Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in B.Sc. Business Administration from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their educational degrees, Malte Kortner has also acquired several certifications. These include completing Consulting 101 from the Consulting & Leadership Academy in December 2022, participating in the CBS Mentoring Programme at Copenhagen Business School in June 2019, completing the Prokura Consulting Academy program at Prokura in November 2018, and obtaining a certification from the Google Digital Garage offered by Google in October 2018.
